Associate Scientist II, Discovery DMPK

Responsibilities

• Perform LC-HRMS or stem-loop qPCR based quantitative bioanalysis in a variety of biological matrices (fluids and tissues) in support of pharmacokinetics and tissue clearance studies.
• Understand and follow sample preparation protocols applicable to assigned tasks.
• Document experimental procedure and results accurately and meticulously.
• Execute all assays in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
• 3+ years of lab experience
• Hands-on experience of LC-MS or multiple detection techniques
• Hands-on experience of sample handling from biological matrices
• Demonstrated innovation, creativity and resilience in problem solving
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary, matrixed environment

Preferred

• Demonstrated practical understanding of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry
• Experience with high-throughput sample analysis applying bioanalysis assays
• Experience working on oligonucleotides
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary, matrixed environment

Pay

Wisconsin pay range: $70,000 USD - $80,000 USD
