Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Analysis of inorganic materials using advanced digestion techniques, wet chemistry methods, and state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation.
• Support research projects through laboratory testing, data analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline preferred; equivalent laboratory experience will be considered.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience with hands-on exposure to wet chemistry, sample preparation, inorganic material analysis, and analytical testing methods.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and scientific or statistical software for data analysis and documentation.
• Strong technical aptitude, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
