Job Responsibilities
- Carry out aerosol extraction on aerosolization machines under direct supervision.
- Collect aerosol on pads or impingers; prepare samples for downstream chemical analysis.
- Perform sample preparation duties including weighing, digesting, shaking, and dissolving.
- Perform routine instrument and machine maintenance.
- Record and report data; maintain laboratory notebooks and LIMS entries.
- Follow established methods, SOPs, and work instructions.
Requirements
- Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific discipline with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- OR Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively under close to direct supervision in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of following detailed instructions and completing routine tasks.
Skills
- Hands-on expertise with aerosolization equipment and flavor analytics methods.
- Sample throughput scheduling and production workflow management.
- Understanding of CAPA and quality systems.
- Strong attention to detail and quality documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Pay
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $55,000 to $75,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
