About the Opportunity
The Associate, Research and Advocacy plays a key role in supporting the research and advocacy practice by managing client engagements and delivering high-quality research and communications materials. This position contributes directly to client success and impact by collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute client engagements based on strategies with senior executives.
- Support research, advocacy, and communications activities for clients.
- Manage client meetings, including agendas, materials, and follow-up notes.
- Analyze publicly available data and prepare client-facing documents.
- Maintain a learning mindset and accept feedback.
- Ensure final deliverables meet high standards of quality.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of professional experience.
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Interest in education policy and national issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with scheduling and administrative tasks.
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop subject matter expertise.
- Familiarity with education, workforce development, or social impact preferred.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The starting salary range is $60,000 - $70,000, varying by skills, experience, and location. Salary offers consider internal equity and potential for growth beyond starting pay.
