ASSOCIATE IN RESEARCH

Main duties

• Aiding in communication with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) including the preparation of IRB protocols under the supervision of the lab’s Principal Investigator (PI).
• Aiding in identifying, recruiting, and consenting eligible healthy controls and patients to participate in EEG research studies.
• Greeting research participants, explaining procedures, installing electrodes for the recording of EEG in our sleep research lab, and performing EEG neuromodulation experience under direct supervision of the lab’s PI.
• Completing forms, compiling data, preparing reports, maintaining records, and files.
• Assisting the lab’s PI in maintaining the lab’s calendar.
• Performing other assigned duties as needed.

Preferred Skills

Experience with recording of EEG, collecting behavioral data, and working with IRBs is an asset.

Min Degree Requirements

A science-related master's degree or terminal degree (e.g., Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M).

Other Requirements

Incumbent must be engaged in scientific research that requires a scientific leadership role, and not employed as a research staff member.
