Position Summary

Under the supervision of a higher‑level sales professional, this role implements strategies that support customers within the assigned Mid‑Atlantic territory, maintains existing business, and prospects new opportunities. The position promotes and sells to physicians in various clinical settings, including private offices and clinics, and requires routine travel within the territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieve performance goals as assigned by the Regional Sales Director.
• Define and identify key market opportunities, implement marketing strategies, and execute sales direction to penetrate existing accounts and gain new customers.
• Complete sales training and stay updated on competitors and market dynamics through corporate updates and ongoing training.
• Present to individuals and large groups on all products and applicable company programs.
• Support territory business plan to ensure monthly revenue goals and sustainable long‑term growth; adjust plan as needed to address sales issues and meet quarterly quotas.
• Provide high‑level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promote positive team relationships and maintain open communication with Regional Sales Director, DSR, Marketing, Reimbursement, Customer Service, Administrative personnel, and senior management.
• Attend industry conferences as needed.
• Work within assigned expense budget and ensure all activities align with BioTissue corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field (required).
• At least 1 year of outside sales experience (required).
• Preferably experience with one or more of the following: pharmaceuticals, medical devices, ophthalmology or optometry, biotechnology, tissue segment.
• Physical requirement: sedentary work that generally requires sitting and/or standing.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $63,000 – $75,000. This range reflects base compensation only; actual salary will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and business needs. The position is also eligible to participate in a variable commission plan, with earnings based on individual and/or company performance under the applicable commission plan.
