Responsibilities
- Assess current practices, systems, and risks related to electronic records across the institution and define requirements for a future ERM program.
- Work closely with IRA and the project team to plan and execute a structured enterprise-wide discovery effort, engaging stakeholders across the organization to articulate roles and responsibilities, identify and document existing system and workflows, identify gaps, and evaluate needs for managing electronic records.
- Provide change management expertise to ongoing major projects and initiatives that are part of Getty’s Digital Roadmap.
- Use expertise in change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, training methods, and communication strategies to drive successful adoption.
- Consult with and educate staff across the organization on change management best practices and work to build staff capacity to perform change management.
- Play a key role in shaping and delivering products across Getty’s Research Products portfolio (including Research Collections, Art Collection, Vocabularies, and related platforms).
- Support capital projects, renovations, and maintenance activities within an active museum environment.
- Ensure construction and contractor operations are performed safely while protecting staff, visitors, artifacts, collections, historic structures, and facilities.
- Support the Associate Director of Dissemination and External Affairs by facilitating research and/or assisting with research projects, exhibitions, and publications.
- Support the Associate Conservator of Decorative Arts Conservation by ensuring the safety and preservation of artworks and artifacts.
Requirements
This role requires a combination of skills and qualifications including:
- Experience in electronic records management and change management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Spanish and a background in Pre-Columbian art history or Latin American studies.
- Experience with construction safety and museum operations.
- Knowledge of decorative arts conservation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as library science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in electronic records management or change management.
- Experience with change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Spanish and a background in Pre-Columbian art history or Latin American studies.
- Experience with construction safety and museum operations.
- Knowledge of decorative arts conservation.
Skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on project needs.
