About the Role
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results-oriented individual to serve as Associate Regional Administrator of Permanency Services. Subject to management approval, this position will oversee Area Administrators through the region who are responsible for the oversight of Permanency Team Supervisors involved in the provision of comprehensive child welfare services within the region. The position provides high-level consultation to the Regional Administrator in all areas of permanency services. This role offers a great opportunity for someone passionate about children and interested in being a leader in the administration of child welfare services. Responsibilities
- Formulates, designs, and directs the implementation of policies and procedures regarding the provision of regional permanency services for the Department.
- Directs, plans, and manages regional permanency programs, providing expertise and oversight of services and systems.
- Serves as full line supervisor.
- Represents the Department before other state and federal agencies, private organizations, elected officials, courts, and lay groups with regard to child welfare issues impacting permanency and human trafficking programs.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
