Associate Quality Engineer

About the role

This is an entry-level quality engineering role. The Associate Quality Engineer supports development and product teams in designing and implementing test plans. Fosters adoption of Quality Engineering (QE) principles of shift-left, customer-centricity, automation, and continual improvement to advance product development. Collaborate with Quality Engineering teams in the creation of and adoption of automated testing to facilitate innovation, quality, and speed to market.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and product teams in designing and implementing test plans.
• Fosters adoption of Quality Engineering (QE) principles of shift-left, customer-centricity, automation, and continual improvement to advance product development.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering teams in the creation of and adoption of automated testing to facilitate innovation, quality, and speed to market.
• Work as an SDET when engaging with Marriott internal development teams to assist them in moving from waterfall to agile.
• Provides innovative and creative insights to solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
• PREFERRED: Preferred Technology certifications
• Experience in Agile methodologies

• Remote pay range: $66,000 - $104,000
