Associate Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance principles, combined with hands-on experience in manufacturing and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, or a related field.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, including 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and other problem-solving tools.
• Experience with statistical analysis, inspection techniques, and process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and electronic document management systems.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Prior auditing experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 17025 standards is a plus.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments involving electrical, electromechanical, and opto-mechanical components and systems is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and related business software applications.

Pay

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
