Associate Project Manager - Incident Response

This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end incident response life cycle and root cause analysis. The specialist acts as a key coordinator for site incident management, utilizing a structured post-mortem investigation process to ensure operational reliability. The role involves supporting critical incident processes alongside existing team members to maintain high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire incident response cycle, including conducting thorough root cause investigations for assigned buildings.
• Master specific technical linguistic styles for drafting high-quality availability reports. Ensure all required documentation and tracking bugs are updated and accurately reflected in dashboards.
• Create and maintain technical dashboards. Aggregate and analyze data to support the Key Event and Root Cause (KERC) identification process.
• Facilitate post-mortem activities to ensure documentation is captured accurately and effectively communicated. Support the Lessons Learned Program to ensure quality intake and continuous process improvement.
• Execute general program management (PGM) tasks, including bug management, follow-up activities, and the creation of project artifacts.
• Provide project management support for facility availability reports and reliability improvement initiatives stemming from post-mortem findings.

Requirements

• A technical background, such as software engineering, is required to meet the demands for complex technical documentation and data analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, dashboard building, and the ability to interpret mechanical plans.
• A high-level understanding of generic data center operations.
• Strong internal communication skills and the ability to master required technical writing styles for professional reporting.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience utilizing automated tools and historical documentation to improve report drafting efficiency.
• Proven ability to follow complex Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with high attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of operational workflows.

Logistics & Working Conditions

• This position is fully remote.
• Candidates must be capable of supporting seamless collaboration across four United States time zones.

Effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner & Townsend will be consolidated into a single global business entity. As a candidate, you should be aware that while your initial employment may be with CBRE Project Management, you will subsequently transfer to the newly formed entity.

Pay

The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary is $120,000 annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
