Associate Project Manager - Hybrid

The Associate Project Manager will join the IT team, assisting in planning, executing, and monitoring projects while developing business knowledge and analytical skills.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule based out of the Richfield, OH office. Employees are expected on-site a minimum of two days per week (core days Tuesday and Wednesday, subject to business needs), with the potential to work up to three days remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing IT project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and promptly.
• Support identification and management of project risks and issues, assisting with risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Collaborate with project team members to encourage positive action and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Aid in ensuring projects are delivered with high quality and meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Track project performance to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to assist in managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. AI background preferred; hunger for innovation, strong communication, and problem-solving skills desired.
• Experience: Generally a minimum of 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Manages small projects or portions of larger, moderately complex projects.
• Demonstrates capability in all project management competencies, including planning, executing, and monitoring of IT projects.
• May assist in making recommendations for best practices and introducing new techniques/tools to the project management team.
• Develops business knowledge and the ability to identify and define business needs, including understanding of the organization's business and technology operations.
• Demonstrates a customer focus by being responsive, consultative, collaborative, and accurate in work approach.
• Develops analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive decision-making.
• May serve as Scrum Master on an agile team, facilitating and coaching the team while helping those outside the team understand how to interact with the team.
