Associate Project Manager

About the role

VARITE is an award-winning minority business enterprise providing global consulting & staffing services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. The client is an American-headquartered life science and clinical research company, a global supplier of analytical instruments, clinical development solutions, specialty diagnostics, laboratory, pharmaceutical and biotechnology services. Position located in Eugene, OR 97402 (onsite) with a 12‑month contract duration and possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Match packaging configurations and fill volumes for customer orders in units such as milligrams, vials, kilograms, etc.
• Support the PMO/Customs team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, and providing customer and commercial project updates.
• Apply working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure, buffer formulation, cell biology, and chemistry.
• Utilize Excel for data management, manipulation, and reporting.
• Work comfortably with various database systems.
• Maintain focus and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Willing to consider candidates just out of college with the appropriate life science background (must be highlighted on resume to substitute for work experience).
• B.S. or B.A. in Biology/Chemistry or other life sciences program.
• 2+ years’ experience in a customer‑facing role within the life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with standard and metric weight and volume units.

Pay

Pay Range: $26.00/hr. to $32.00/hr. on W2.
