This is an Entry Level Power Engineer — Associate Project Management role supporting a confidential client in the IT sector with energy-related projects. This is a full-time, hybrid position tied to a local hub in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery and customer satisfaction by managing assigned project-related tasks.
  • Act as a close interface between project execution and engineering teams.
  • Assist the project manager by updating dashboards, MyProjects, status reports, project documentation, and meeting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams across the software development lifecycle — from planning through deployment.
  • Help define project scope, functional requirements, and delivery timelines for custom solutions.
  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos) and track progress using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Support backlog grooming: document user stories, acceptance criteria, and developer estimates.
  • Monitor development progress, identify blockers, and escalate issues to senior PMs when needed.
  • Maintain deployment checklists and coordinate go-live activities across DevOps, QA, and product teams.
  • Document technical requirements, architectural notes, and deployment plans to keep teams aligned.
  • Facilitate communication between developers, product owners, and QA to ensure timely feature delivery.
  • Track post-deployment issues and assist in planning patches or hotfixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related accredited degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Ability to work from the listed location in a hybrid model tied to a local hub in Bellevue, WA.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with basic project documentation, status reporting, and working within Agile teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence (or similar Agile tooling).
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
  • Experience documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, or deployment plans.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, track issues, and coordinate cross-functional follow-up actions.

Pay

Pay range (U.S. candidates): $66,240 — $99,360 per year. A geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% may apply in certain areas; final offer considers experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
