About the role

The Associate Engineering Project Manager will assist in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects within specified timelines, budget, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Manages small to medium projects comprised of several project team members.
  • Aids in managing medium to large team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, project ownership, and risk management.
  • Implements successful team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, project ownership, and risk management.
  • Communicates well with other project leadership to ensure alignment with scope and schedules.
  • Works with Operations and Estimating staff in the development of design/engineering project budgets and proposals.
  • Engages team to identify project risks and assumptions, develops mitigation strategies/plans, and works to have strategies in place.
  • Maintains regular, transparent communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Safeguards project delivery within approved budget, schedule, contingency, and meets quality standards.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Project Management, Analytics, or a related field is required. Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of demonstrated Project Management experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills.
  • Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with Operations and Estimating staff in the development of project budgets and proposals.
  • Proven track record in managing engineering or technical projects.

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
