About the role
The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, in partnership with The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders of Emory in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic physician-investigator to join the Hematology Division as the Sidney F. Stein Chair in Hemophilia and Hemostasis.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Emory's multidisciplinary comprehensive care clinic, outpatient hematology practice, and inpatient hematology consultative services across Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
- Play an active role in teaching and mentoring trainees at Emory University School of Medicine.
- Support the ongoing expansion of research in hemostasis within the Division and Center.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certification in Hematology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Georgia
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research in hematology
