Position Summary
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking an academic Pathologist with sub-specialty training in Hematopathology for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The ideal candidate will have a primary service assignment in hematopathology. Those with interests in flow cytometry or molecular diagnostics are encouraged to apply. Applicants with sufficient experience will be considered for a leadership position as Director of Hematopathology.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- An MD or DO degree
- American Board of Pathology board-certified or board eligible in Hematopathology as well as Clinical and/or Anatomic Pathology
- Eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- A primary service assignment in hematopathology
