Associate Professor or Professor, Division Chief

About the role

This person will provide administrative direction and oversight of the Division, deliver medical care to patients in a hospital setting, collaborate with nursing, office staff, administrant in patient care, collaborate with peers and support staff, participate in academic/clinical/research activities, participate in education evaluations and career development of students, residents, fellow and staff, and participate in committees as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative direction and oversight of the operations of the Division and its Fellowship program.
• Deliver medical care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with nursing, office staff, administrant in patient care.
• Collaborate with peers and support staff.
• Participate in academic/clinical/research activities.
• Participate in education evaluations and career development of students, residents, fellow and staff.
• Participate in committees as assigned.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, MB, or MBBA, State of VA license
• Division/Medical Group leadership experience in running and growing a program
• Experience in an academic/teaching setting
