An academic center in West Virginia is seeking Division Chiefs in Epilepsy, Headache, and Neuro-Oncology, as well as junior neurologists with interests in cognitive, headache medicine, neuro-oncology, pediatric epilepsy, and pediatric neurology. General and sub-specialized neurology openings are also available at two community hospitals, including one located 24 miles outside of the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Epilepsy Division Chief

  • Candidates should have at least ten years of clinical experience, with preference for those who also have epilepsy surgery experience
  • Level 4 Epilepsy Center with a 6-bed EMU
  • Ability to read continuous and routine EEGs
  • Teaching opportunities for fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Work alongside Adult and Pediatric Epilepsy/Functional Surgeons

Headache Division Chief, Fellowship Director & Staff

  • Leadership opportunities include Division Chief and Fellowship Director; roles may be combined for highly qualified candidates
  • 100% headache volume

Neuro-Oncology Division Chief

  • 100% neuro-oncology volume
  • Work alongside dedicated neurosurgeons, neurologists, and oncologists

Memory Disorders

  • Join a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, geriatricians, nurses, and social workers
  • Initiate and participate in clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias

  • Rehabilitation and speech therapy supported in clinic

Epilepsy & General Pediatric Neurology

  • General and epilepsy sub-specialized neurologists encouraged to apply

  • Work alongside pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, etc.
  • The only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children

  • Inpatient/Outpatient split role
  • Monday-Friday schedule (daytime only)
  • Interests in EEG, NCS, EMG, and Sleep welcomed but not required

  • Inpatient/Outpatient split role
  • General Neurologists and Sub-Specialists encouraged to apply
