Associate Professor Comprehensive Ophthalmology

About the role

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• May include a faculty practice with comprehensive ophthalmic medical and surgical care at Scheie Eye Institute and select satellite locations.
• Majority of outpatient services will be provided at the Penn Medicine location in Wilmington, Delaware.
• Teaching responsibilities may include participation in didactic and clinical instruction of residents and, as needed, medical students and fellows at Scheie.

Requirements

• Must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Experience in comprehensive ophthalmic medical and surgical care.
• Ability to teach residents and medical students/fellows.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong clinical and teaching abilities.
