Associate Professor, Clinical Imaging Research

This position leads cutting-edge research in ultra-high field MRI, with a focus on developing and managing innovative projects involving 7T MRI technology.

Responsibilities

• Design research protocols for 7T MRI studies.
• Acquire and analyze MRI data.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor students and fellows.
• Establish an independent, externally-funded research program.
• Present research at conferences.
• Foster internal and external research partnerships.
• Contribute to institutional service through teaching, mentorship, and committee participation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
• Proven success in scientific research with peer-reviewed publications and external funding.
• Expertise in medical imaging, especially MRI procedures and protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of clinical regulatory requirements.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to clinical impact and research excellence.
