Associate Professor, Clinical Imaging Research

Role Overview: This position involves leading research in ultra-high field MRI, with a focus on clinical neuroimaging, pharmacologic MRI, cancer imaging, or psychiatry. The successful candidate will develop, lead, and sustain an independent, externally-funded research program, conceptualize innovative projects, and establish a research group. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators, supervise students and fellows, and contribute to scientific literature through presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Responsibilities Include Designing and leading advanced MRI research projects, including protocol development and data analysis.Writing IRB protocols and acquiring research funding.Presenting findings at conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.Fostering collaborations within and outside the institution.Contributing to teaching, mentoring, and service activities.Providing leadership in collaborative imaging research initiatives. Qualifications PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or related fields.Current university faculty role with significant external grant success.Expertise in medical imaging and MRI protocols.Proven research record with peer-reviewed publications.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to work collaboratively and understand clinical regulatory requirements.
