Associate Professor, Clinical Imaging Research

About the role

This position focuses on leading research in ultra-high field MRI, with an emphasis on developing and managing translational and clinical neuroimaging projects using 7T MRI technology.

Responsibilities

• Design studies and write protocols
• Acquire and analyze MRI data
• Publish research findings and present at scientific conferences
• Establish and sustain an independent, externally funded research program
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Supervise students and fellows
• Contribute to institutional service through mentoring and committee participation

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated record of successful scientific research
• Expertise in MRI procedures
• Strong peer-reviewed publication record
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead a team, understand regulatory requirements, and manage multiple projects efficiently
