Associate Professor/Clinical
About the role
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the School of Health Professions at UT Health San Antonio invites applications for a Professor/Clinical position. We seek a dynamic educator and professional dedicated to excellence in teaching, service, and student success. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s mission through teaching in both didactic and laboratory settings, mentoring students, and participating in curriculum development, program assessment, and service activities within the department, school, and university.
Responsibilities
- Teaching graduate courses in communication sciences.
- Participating in curriculum development and program evaluation and programmatic accreditation activities.
- Advising and mentoring students.
- Engaging in departmental and university service activities.
- Supporting the educational, clinical, and professional goals of the department.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field (doctoral degree preferred).
- Current certification of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of clinical and/or teaching experience in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
