About the role

The Product Development organization drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf, acting as “product CEOs” to deliver high satisfaction for end users and strong business results. This role supports the Ninja business at our Needham, MA headquarters, focusing on developing successful and profitable programs to grow the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm phase through mass production, while partnering with leadership to define over-arching category direction.
• Progress, report on, and action deliverables for yourself and your team, ensuring accountability throughout the development process.
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications by marrying consumer wants/needs, market white space, and product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.
• Take ownership of assigned categories’ sales performance by identifying successful and underperforming products, and recommending new opportunities to fill gaps.
• Lead competitive product analyses to provide insights on how SharkNinja stacks up against competitors and identify areas for improvement.
• Serve as the voice of legacy product lines, sharing consumer and market insights with Product Developers focused on new product development (NPD) to incorporate feedback into next-generation products.
• Partner with SharkNinja Testing and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
• Act as the product “expert” for cross-functional team members, addressing questions and concerns.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field—preferably at a consumer goods company.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• A consumer-first perspective when introducing new products/processes or improving existing ones.
• A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly effective communication skills—both written (presentations, emails) and verbal (hosting problem-solving conversations, presenting to all levels of management).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to learn and grow in a passionate, dynamic environment.
• The ability to embrace transparency, shifting priorities, and learning from each decision while focusing on the path forward.

Pay

Annual salary range: $56,300—$75,000 USD
