Associate Procurement Specialist
About the role
The Associate Specialist, Procurement operates within the Procurement Leadership Office, supporting the Vice President of Procurement and the broader Procurement Leadership Team. This role offers early-career development opportunities, focusing on procurement strategy, supplier management, and the source-to-contract lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support the Vice President of Procurement and Procurement Leadership Team in planning, prioritization, and execution of overall sourcing activities.
- Conduct spend analysis and opportunity assessments to identify sourcing, cost optimization, and process improvement opportunities.
- Participate in contract review and source-to-contract activities to develop commercial acumen.
- Prepare briefing materials, summaries, and pre-reads to enable effective leadership decision-making.
- Prepare and drive follow-ups, supporting alignment and accountability.
- Draft communications, presentations, and executive updates.
- Capture and drive follow-ups, supporting alignment and accountability.
- Coordinate leadership meetings and maintain visibility to priorities, risks, and progress.
- Support sourcing events and procurement processes, including data gathering and supplier research.
- Aid in the development of sourcing strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Participate in supplier interactions to build foundational commercial and negotiation skills.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and procurement's role in delivering value.
- Build relationships across functions to develop business acumen and influence early in career.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in a business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize information and translate to support executive level deliverables.
- Demonstrated learning agility and interest in procurement or supply chain.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and operate in dynamic environments.

Pay & Benefits
A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is $53,640.00 - $80,450.00. Actual compensation may be higher or lower based on various factors, including job duties, experience, and expertise. The pay rate or range is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Benefits may vary based on location, job role/level, job status, and/or the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreements.
