About the role

We are seeking a private credit professional to support origination and execution across Galaxy's growing lending platform. This role involves a broad mandate spanning structured and asset-based lending, acquisition and event-driven financing, and bespoke payments-infrastructure facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Origination & Structuring: Support origination and structuring across a broad product set including digital asset-collateralized warehouse facilities, receivables finance, acquisition and event-driven financing (LBOs, take-privates, bridge facilities), and payments/settlement-gap products spanning cross-border payments, card-network settlement, and stablecoin infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, platforms, and counterparties to help design bespoke financing structures as the platform expands into new products and counterparty types.
  • Negotiation & Documentation: Support negotiation of transaction documents in partnership with outside counsel and senior deal leads.
  • Credit & Risk Management: Support the credit approval process, including preparing recommendations and structural analysis for the risk committee; conduct diligence on counterparties, collateral, and portfolio performance; manage and prioritize a broad, concurrent transaction pipeline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, risk, markets, and treasury teams to support the firm's lending strategy; contribute to internal and external communications on behalf of the credit function.
  • AI Implementation: Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes; leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in private credit, structured credit, or acquisition/leveraged finance, with direct exposure to transaction execution from origination through close.
  • Working knowledge of secured lending structures and collateral protection frameworks; exposure to acquisition finance or event-driven credit (bridge loans, take-private financing) a plus.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, with comfort preparing materials for senior stakeholders and risk committees.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in digital assets; direct experience in crypto-collateralized lending or payments/settlement finance a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Pay

Base salary and discretionary bonus. Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 USD.

Schedule

Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements.
