Associate Physician Account Representative

About the role

Assists in several tasks related to patient accounts for hospital and clinical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Processes and manages patient claims
• Collects payments from third party insurance carriers and patients
• Resolves any issues relating to the physician account
• Answers any questions physicians may have about their account
• Assists physicians with terms for repayment structures
• Negotiates any overdue balance to recover payment from physicians
• Generates bills for patients including payment plan options
• Explains insurance benefits to patients
• Performs related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0-1 years of relevant experience required
