Associate PGD Field Engineer - ROI Solar & BESS - North FL Region

About the role

Florida Power & Light is seeking an Associate PGD Field Engineer to join the Power Generation Solar Operations Team. The role involves the daily operation and maintenance of large-scale solar and battery facilities within the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel and equipment onsite are safe and comply with all required regulatory permit requirements.
• Perform a variety of routine tasks, including preventative and corrective maintenance, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with the Renewables Operation Control Center, OEMs, Vendors, and Contractors as required.
• Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong bias for action and independence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Experience: 0+ years
• Valid Driver's License (non-CDL)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program

Skills

Highly motivated with a strong bias for action and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
