Associate Patient Services Specialist
Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Associate Patient Access Representative assists patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits, collects accurate demographic and insurance information, and collects patient liability at the time of service. This role also handles financial clearance functions for assigned scheduled accounts and performs miscellaneous client service activities, including valuables collection and basic customer service. The representative greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
- Collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
- Collect patient liability at the time of service, if known.
- Perform financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts.
- Handle miscellaneous client service activities, including valuables collection and providing basic customer service.
- Greet and serve patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of revenue cycle structure.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems; maintain computer and office equipment skills.
- Ability to complete assigned functions.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $14.20 - $21.28 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, with multiple shifts available.
