Associate Patient Services Specialist
About the role
Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/pre-certification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service.

- Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote sacred encounters.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting with proven customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and explain payer benefits.
- Patient may require voice elevation, repetitive information and require understanding acknowledgment.
