Associate Patient Care Coordinator - Administration
About the role
An Associate Patient Care Coordinator provides various receptionist and skilled clerical duties to support the department. This position is responsible for scheduling patients, obtaining necessary documentation, and coordinating aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care. The position performs prior authorizations when necessary. This role will perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of the entity.
Responsibilities
- Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support the department
- Schedule patients and coordinate patient care
- Obtain necessary documentation
- Perform prior authorizations as needed

Requirements
- Customer service experience
Qualifications
- Completion of PMC’s Competency Review for BOS/PSR/PAR Staff with a passing score within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: 6 months of medical office experience
- Preferred: 6 months of experience in EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $31.48 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This is a part-time, day-shift position.
