Associate Pastor of Youth and Families

About the role

The North Gwinnett Baptist Church in Suwannee, GA is seeking an associate pastor of family and youth. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, tech-minded man willing to grow the youth and children's ministries.

Responsibilities

• Work a minimum of 20 hours a week
• Focus on and grow the youth group
• Guide and care for the children's team
• Participate in weekly staff meetings
• Preach Sundays when needed and run Wednesday night Bible studies
• Reach out to the community via school, community events, and social media platforms
• Plan and maintain a calendar for the church
• Stay in constant contact with the senior pastor
• Help run the church's social media
• Help in any other way as needed

Requirements

• Able to fulfill the requirements set forth in 1 Timothy 3
• Character and conviction
• Not afraid of their faith
• Family man preferred but not required
• Equipped to preach and teach
• Able to work under authority and with others

Pay

This is a part-time, paid position.
