About the Church
Immanuel Baptist Church is a rural conservative Southern Baptist church located just outside the city limits of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Our ministry goals are to reach out and bring the word of God and the plan of salvation to as many people as possible in our community, while fostering the spiritual development of individuals and families within it.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor – Minister of Youth who can work alongside our Lead Pastor to spread the word of God throughout our community, attract and retain members, and help build our youth program for the glory of God.
The Minister of Youth will develop and implement a comprehensive youth program, including planning, coordinating, and conducting activities, programs, retreats, and outings to foster the growth of our youth.
The Associate Pastor will work under the leadership and guidance of the Pastor and assist in all facets of the ministry. They will be available to the Pastor, staff, deacon body, leaders, teachers, and congregation to further the Kingdom of God.
Applicants must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct youth activities, programs, retreats, and outings.
- Work alongside the Lead Pastor to spread the word of God and grow the church community.
- Assist the Pastor in all facets of ministry as needed.
- Support and collaborate with church staff, deacons, leaders, teachers, and congregation members.
