As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a timely manner consistent with the department’s safety, quality, and production goals. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department’s Team Lead(s).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the packing schedule is followed to satisfy customer needs. (90%)
• Ensure product quality meets company and industry standards. (90%)
• Report all quality issues directly to the department lead. (5%)
• Maintain a clean immediate work area to avoid safety-related issues. (5%)

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Reliable, punctual attendance
• Effective communication in group and one‑on‑one settings, across all departments and levels; ability to communicate between shifts to achieve departmental goals
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance and use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree, as well as micrometers and calipers

Requirements

• Physical demands: regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear; occasionally required to sit; operate large equipment while standing 8‑12 hours, with regular twisting and bending in repetitive motion; frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• Work environment: possible exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
• Travel: no domestic travel required.
• Relocation: not available for this position.
• Work status & location: full‑time, non‑exempt position based in Gallatin, TN.

Pay

$19.00 - $22.88 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, with overtime as needed.
