Associate Orthodontist - The Modern Orthodontist & Portland Braces

About the role

This opportunity is ideal for an orthodontist seeking clinical autonomy, long-term growth, and the opportunity to practice across two established orthodontic offices in one of the Pacific Northwest's most desirable markets. The Associate Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic care at The Modern Orthodontist in Vancouver, Washington, and Portland Braces in Portland, Oregon, delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences within modern, technology-driven practice environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthodontic care at both locations
• Partner closely with leadership and an experienced team to enhance clinical excellence, optimize patient flow, and further develop a thriving, relationship-driven practice culture
• Offer mentorship and support to other associates
• Participate in ongoing clinical development and professional growth

Requirements

• Experience as an orthodontist, with preference given to those with experience in both Washington and Oregon
• Willingness to obtain licensure in the second state to support care across both locations
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
• Current orthodontic licensure in either Washington or Oregon
• Passionate about building, improving, and leading through positive change
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
