Associate or Senior Associate - Intangible Asset Valuation

About the role

This position involves supporting valuation engagements within a dynamic team, analyzing industry and financial data, and preparing valuation models and reports. The role emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and collaboration to deliver innovative tax solutions and assist high-profile clients with business opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research on comparable companies and M&A transactions
• Participate in due diligence, evaluate business plans, and perform financial analyses
• Develop and review valuation models, including DCF and market approaches
• Draft reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external audiences
• Present findings to teams, clients, and auditors
• For Senior Associates: mentor and guide new team members

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of valuation experience for associates; three years for senior associates
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills
• Japanese language skills in speaking and writing
