Associate or Senior Associate - Intangible Asset Valuation

About the role

This position involves supporting valuation projects within a dynamic team, focusing on analyzing business entities, intangible assets, and financial data. The role requires performing industry research, participating in due diligence, and developing valuation models using methods such as DCF, guideline public company, and transaction approaches. Responsibilities include preparing reports, reviewing models for accuracy, and presenting findings to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry and financial research, including comparable company analysis and M&A transactions.
• Evaluate business plans, perform financial statement analyses, and assist in due diligence meetings.
• Create and review valuation models, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Draft reports, proposals, and presentations, and communicate analysis results clearly.
• Uphold professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
• Mentor and guide new team members, supporting their development (Senior Associate).

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or related research; three years for senior roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Japanese language skills in speaking and writing.
