Associate or Senior Associate, Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation Associate or Senior Associate to support analyses related to construction projects, real estate acquisitions, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction costs and review technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits and prepare detailed reports and depreciation analyses.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate asset classification.
• Identify opportunities for tax benefits, such as sales‑tax exemptions.
• Senior Associates: lead engagement segments, oversee junior team members, and manage client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience for Associates and 2 years for Senior Associates in cost segregation, engineering, or construction.
• Proficiency in Excel, data‑automation, and business‑intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and federal depreciation principles.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
