About the role
The successful candidate will lead the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and serve as Co-Director of the Behavioral Health Institute (BHI).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the division’s clinical care, research, and education programs.
- Service missions, strategic planning, faculty recruitment, program development, faculty and fellow mentoring, and budgetary affairs.
- Work closely with the other Pediatric Division Chiefs and Co-Directors of the BHI.
- Shape system-wide behavioral health strategy and coordinate with early intervention providers, community agencies, and school systems.
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD degree with board certification in both developmental-behavioral pediatrics and general pediatrics.
- Outstanding qualifications in clinical care, education, and research.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative, clinical, research, and financial support will be provided.
- Experience in leading a pediatric division and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to collaborate with community agencies and school systems to provide comprehensive developmental, behavioral, and educational support.
Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior faculty and fellows.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $309,500-$333,784.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
