About the role
The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at the Pennsylvania State University invites applications for an open-rank tenured faculty position focused on social and organizational informatics and located in State College, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in residential, online, and/or hybrid modes
- Conduct cutting-edge interdisciplinary research
- Supervise and mentor graduate students
- Actively pursue external funding to support research activities
- Engage in service activities at the college and university levels
- Collaborate with faculty across the university and industry partners
Requirements
- PhD in Information Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Research expertise in social and organizational informatics
- Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Skills
- Proficiency in qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods research
