About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, medical education, and clinical or translational research.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonary or Pediatric Sleep Medicine is required.

Qualifications

  • Rank will be commensurate with experience.
  • Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative and independent research programs, an outstanding record of research productivity, and participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts.
