About the role
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.
- Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, medical education, and clinical or translational research.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonary or Pediatric Sleep Medicine is required.
Qualifications
- Outstanding record of research productivity.
- Participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts.
Skills
