About the role
The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the tenure track. Responsibilities
- Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Providing formal lectures within the department and PSOM
- Maintaining a robust, federally-funded independent research program
- Collaborating with other investigators to develop interdisciplinary programs
- Led leadership and management of core facilities, including multiphoton imaging, -omics, and flow cytometry
Requirements
A strong track record of federal research funding and a sterling national and international reputation are preferred. A continuous record of productivity and high-impact original papers as a project leader are essential.
