Associate or Full Professor of Clinical X Faculty Search

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a pioneering, independent program of research examining structural and organizational determinants of mental health care access, delivery, and outcomes for older adults, individuals with serious mental illness, and other underserved populations. This program should attract extramural funding.

Participate as a faculty member in activities of the Department of Community Health Systems

Teach and mentor students in the DNP/PhD programs

Build and sustain interprofessional, cross-institutional, and international research collaborations

Requirements

• Education/Licensure — Minimum (required): PhD in Nursing
• Current, or eligibility for, California Registered Nurse licensure
• Current, or eligibility for, California Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing licensure
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or equivalent national certification

Qualifications And Experience

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, national recognition for independent research, extensive clinical activities, service, leadership
• Expertise of four or more years of classroom and/or clinical teaching experience with Advanced Practice Nursing or doctoral students at the graduate level
• Active clinical practice as a nurse practitioner with at least ten years of experience
