About the role
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast surgery.
Responsibilities
- Education of medical students, residents and fellows
- Program Director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship
- Outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of breast cancer and benign breast patients
Requirements
- M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree
- Certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or foreign equivalent
- Completed an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program and a breast surgical oncology or complex general surgical oncology fellowship

- Expertise in breast surgery
