Associate or Full Professor of Breast Surgery (AC Track)

About the role

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast surgery.

Responsibilities

• Education of medical students, residents and fellows
• Program Director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship
• Outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of breast cancer and benign breast patients

Requirements

• M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree
• Certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or foreign equivalent
• Completed an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program and a breast surgical oncology or complex general surgical oncology fellowship

• Expertise in breast surgery

• Strong teaching abilities
