The University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) invites applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position in health law to begin in the Fall 2027 term. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a chair or professorship depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach upper-level health law courses
• Willingness to teach elsewhere in the UHLC curriculum, including 1L courses or other courses covered on the bar exam, is also a positive factor

Qualifications

• Hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent)
• Have an excellent record of health law scholarship
• Have made substantial scholarly contributions to that specific discipline
• Possess a strong teaching record
• Have a record that demonstrates a proven commitment to service indicating success as a future member of the community of the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) and the University of Houston (UH) more broadly
