Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst
About the role
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The Experimental Service Group (ESG) supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains and is a fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio includes the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), the United States' most advanced, state-of-the-art reentry space craft.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results
- Support the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Provides feedback on assessment results
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
Qualifications
- More than 1 year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- More than 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- More than 1 year of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Experience with project management
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to look forward strategically and develop detailed solutions and specifications
- Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Basic Qualifications
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)
- Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Conflict of Interest
To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. Pay & Benefits
- Associate Level 2: $74,800 - $101,200
- Experienced Level 3: $90,950 - $123,050
