About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

• Work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
• Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours directly with the Subleasing doctor.
• Care for patients with full scope of practice based on professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Utilize latest digital eye examination technology such as Clarifye and Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System.
• Operate a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment and tech support.
• Offer automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice optometry in the state where the practice is located.
• Experience in independent practice preferred.
• Professional autonomy to care for patients.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of optical dispensing and patient care.
• Proficiency in using digital eye examination technology.
