About the role

As an Associate Optometrist at LensCrafters, you will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients under the supervision of the Subleasing Doctor
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Manage patient records and communications
• Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program
• Current license to practice optometry in North Carolina
• Experience in independent practice preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Knowledge of optical dispensing techniques
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
• Passion for customer service and eye care

Pay

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
